All you get to know for mow is it's about Hannah Broom...a grubby little witch...who is excited about an upcoming social engagement ;) I have many ideas bubbling in my brain but I need a decent chunk of time to get some scribbles and storyboards down.
Guidance for what Hannah Broom should look like: (Acording to the author)
Hehe...watch this space. But for now I am off to curl up on the sofa with some crochet. I'm a poorly bear.

Inspriation dump!!
First up, this lady has mad skills:
http://www.barbarakeal.com
She makes crazy felt hats, inspired by real animals. Like the stag hat in the picture.
Which has inspired me to get creative with my felting on a big scale! In the past I've made jewellery and dreads with felt, but now I want to make some giant bunny ears, mounted on wire to be attached to my top hat! I'm thinking mad march hare gone wrong is going to be a festival outfit this year! Watch this space!!
Next up, and still on the festival costume train of thought, I want to make a giant dragon tail! I have seen a company called festival tails, who make different designs of tails to wear while partying your arse off in a field! But I'm thinking bigger. Those tails are cool but I want a massive ridiculous tail that drags along the floor and causes chaos!
I'm also debating antlers...probably papier mache antlers. Found a good tutorial for papier mache animal heads that I'm sure I could adapt.
Lots of plans!
More than I can ramble on about here.

Studded top :)
Todays slice of creativity is something I have been meaning to do for months! With some clothing studs I bought back in the summer and a cheap vest top from primark. I made a cute studded tank top. It's quite addictive. I think 100 clothing spikes might not go very far! Luckily you can pick them up mega cheap on ebay. My only advice if you try this yourself is: wear the clothing while you attach the studs. If you choose a stretchy top like I did then the studs move around loads as the top stretches!

My 365 challenge!
And so today, January 1st, with a killer hangover, I have made a small start to some Crochet legwarmers! I have no pattern, I want them to be a bit scruffy. But here they are....my first 6 rows! Will update as they get bigger.

Crochet Christmas tree baubles
Inspired by my previous adventures in crochet I used the basic technique to make some abstract Christmas baubles as gifts.
I'm really pleased with how they turned out, I love the different textures! Hopefully the recipients will enjoy them too!
Rekkless attempts crochet!
I finally made use of the book on Amigurumi that my OH got me for my birthday. (In the summer...oops...too many other projects!) Re-learning to crochet was fairly stress free thanks to a couple of books and YouTube videos, I highly recommend everyone to give it a go. This is a great book for beginners.
In a moment of madness I decided to crochet some fruit! A slightly wonky plum and a mildly holey strawberry later and voila! The rescults are now hanging happily on my Christmas tree.

Is it picnic time yet?
Look at this awesome picnic set I found! Original 70's orange. Funky. And plastic plates, which for clumsy old me is just perfect! Love it.
Roll on next summer!
